If you're coming from the Northeast (I just moved here from Philly), then you would say this is a good beer pub with a great selection. If you live in Dallas (just moved here), you would have to say this is the best place in the entire metroplex to get hard to find import and micro-beers. There just isn't any place around that matches it. Selection is good, and they change it often. Food is OK, but I wouldn't come here for food, just as i wouldn't go to a fine restaurant for beer. They also have some good specials if you hit the right days/times. Crowd is always nice, and the service is generally good as well. Recommended for anyone who likes good, real beer.

Visited while on business from OKC. Excellent selection of beers. All of their draughts were clean, fresh beers. I have been to several pubs that had a large selection of beers on tap but most had old beer with a definate "old beer taste". Not so with Flying Saucer. The food is good and the service (three days in a row) has always been fast, courteous, and informative. Wish they would bring a restaurant to OKC!

You really can't beat the selection of beers anywhere. We went on a very noisy Saturday night and I had a recommended cask conditioned Avery IPA that was exceptional. Service was good considering the crowd. Came back the next day, Sunday afternoon, for another Avery and even got the cozy corner sitting area! Not so busy but the service was SLOW! Not sure why, there appeared to be plenty of wait staff around.

I go to the Saucer here in Columbia, S.C. every week. Best beer hall/pub in the state. The only place to get the really good import beers and American micro-brews. Pretty good food too, if a bit pricey.

Great selection of beers, probably the best selection in D/FW. I'm pretty much a regular at the Wednesday night buy the beer keep the glass night. Service is consistent, and generally good. You won't find a gourmet meal here, but compared to your average bar food I think it's more than reasonable.
